Hey hey, it's closing day! There is nothing more fun than creating a home for a new owner to love living and building memories in. We bought for $186,500 back in the fall. We did some fixing, painted the exterior, updated the kitchen, master suite and flooring. Today we got to turn over the keys to new owners!! 🏠❤️🗝 #realestate

I see and hear a lot of criticism about my brokerage eXp Realty. I get it, eXp is an industry disrupter and is scary to a lot of agents and brokerages who are unfamiliar with how eXp is structured to support agents to succeed and generate wealth in a way real estate has not been able to do before. So go ahead throw dirt, eXp is not for everyone. Some may never get it and others just haven't gotten it yet.

I went to go check out a property over the weekend that I had seen before. It's an earth sheltered house needing some updating, but it's on 4 acres 🌳🌳🌳😍! I pulled out a digital map to see the size of the lot and noticed there was a second structure in addition to the house. So back in the woods we hiked to find there is an old barn falling down. If you owned this piece of land with this broken down barn what would you do with this structure? Use the wood for other projects? Have the whole thing removed? Or repurpose some of it into a new structure there?

It's a wild mental game to get caught up in doubt, worry and fear of past experiences. I know what it's like to let my mind go thinking about how I wish I had done things differently or made radical changes sooner. What I know for sure is that playing the "what if" game can't change past mistakes. Instead 'what if' today you acted differently. 'What if' today you embraced challenges, and today you started on a new path. It's important to accept we all have stumbled and it's not bad.
